We’ve got a special license that allows us to set our users up to use Plai.io – when you sign up just send 5 email addresses that you would like added to your Plai workspace.
It’s true other marketing tools have all-inclusive plans, but the reality is they have worked the numbers to determine a price point that they will not lose on, but most users do.
Our approach is not to charge you extra on plans to cover usage costs when you might not be using the platform as much as others are. Instead of charging you hundreds, and even thousands, more on plans like other tools do we charge a base fee plus usage fees. Only a small percentage of “power” users lose under this model, whereas the majority of users benefit from a fairer “pay for usage” model.
We recognise that some businesses use applications that have been specifically built for their industry, and FocalContact is not intended to replace those.
You can run FocalContact in parallel to your practice management software to do what it does not do, and use a tool like Zapier to set up integrations, use our premium workflow actions (including webhooks), or do an API integration.
If you use your practice management software for appointment bookings, it may do a two-way sync with Google and Office Calendars. FocalContact does, too, so syncing between FocalContact and your practice management software may happen automatically once two-way syncing is enabled.

To help you get started, the first thing you should do is book an onboarding call. This call is done via Zoom video conference and will walk you through anything that needs setting up.
Depending on the inclusions of your plan level, we include templates for emails, websites and funnels that you can deploy and edit. We also include some standard automations that are saved to draft in your account, ready to edit and publish. These automations include:
